Research Interests: Snow accumulation, snow transport dynamics and snow surface feature formation in polar regions; Atmospheric boundary layer turbulence and fluxes; Aerosol dynamics, including interactions with surfaces; Instrumentation development for the investigation of ice sheet and meteorological processes in remote areas.

M.S. and Ph.D., Atmospheric Science, Colorado State University.
Past positions include research meteorologist at the U.S. Army Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory at White Sands Missile Range and teaching meteorology part time at New Mexico State University. Also, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at Creighton University.
Research Interests: Numerical modeling and mesoscale precipitation systems.
Other activities: Principle Investigator on an equipment grant from the National Science Foundation and has also received a grant from COMET. She is currently on the Board of Meteorological and Oceanographic Education of the American Meteorological Society and the Nominating Committee of the National Weather Association.
